PCR’s 40th Anniversary Dinner Gala was held on May 3, 2017 at the beautiful

LA Hotel Downtown.


Pacific Coast Regional Small Business Development Corporation (PCR) is celebrating 40 years of providing financial and educational assistance to underserved small business persons and communities.  On May 3, 2017, PCR held it’s Gala 40 at the beautiful LA Hotel Downtown reflecting on the past and looking forward toward the future.  Remarks were given by PCR Vice President/Program Manager, Angela B. Winston and PCR Vice President/SBDC Director, Constance Anderson as well as PCR President/CEO, Mark J. Robertson, Sr.  Ten honorees were recognized for their partnerships with PCR and contributions to the small business community.

Actor, Producer, Director, Wren Brown was the Master of Ceremonies.  The Keynote Speaker was Cookie Johnson, author, spokesperson, entrepreneur and owner of CJ by Cookie Johnson, her line of premium denim jeans.   The evening’s dinner entertainment was provided by the Michael McTaggart Quintet.  Harpist Dr. Jane Ferruzzo entertained during the VIP Reception.

PCR would like to thank the 40th Anniversary Dinner Gala Honorary Dinner Co-Chairs, Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas and State Senator Holly Mitchell as well as the entire Honorary Dinner Committee, Dinner sponsors, PCR Board and Staff for an extraordinary celebration.


PCR's 40th Anniversary Kick-Off Reception was held on October 6, 2016, at the Hilton Checkers Rooftop in downtown Los Angeles.
